About the role: MEC NT are seeking a trade qualified (Electrician) Electrical Estimator to join our team, based in our head office in Berrimah NT, estimating projects of up to $50 million in size.
What we're offering: Competitive salary package Relocation package for right candidate Company vehicle Job security Training & career progression opportunities Weekly pay Tasks and responsibilities: Interpret and follow technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to determine project requirements Determine labour, materials, and time requirements for proposed works Liaise and build strong professional relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing and information is provided within specified timelines Ensure tender submissions meet any format, timeline and other requirements as specified by client Prepare and lodge tender submissions, including collating any supporting documentation Maintain tender lists / registers, key dates and scheduling the review process Provide support and guidance to project managers and project team to enable successful execution of projects including critical timeline tasks Participate in client meetings and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders Review project documentation and specifications When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects Assist project managers conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement To be successful in this role you will have the following: NT Electrical Licence (Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician) Drivers Licence Construction Induction / White Card Experience as an A Grade Electrician Intermediate or proficient in using Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Intermediate or proficient in using Simpro (Project Management Software) #J-18808-Ljbffr
