About the role
Innovative Cabling Pty Ltd is an established and growing electrical firm seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As the Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our electrical construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and project proposals. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our company.
What you'll be doing Analysing project requirements and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates Researching and sourcing materials, labour, and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive and accurate quotes Collaborating with project managers, builders, and consultants to understand project scope and requirements Preparing and submitting comprehensive project proposals and tender documents Identifying potential risks and providing recommendations to mitigate them Maintaining a thorough understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices Continuously seeking opportunities to improve estimating processes and procedures What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician or Estimator in the construction industry Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry regulations Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints Excellent numerical and analytical skills to accurately calculate costs and quantities Proven track record of working on and delivering commercial projects Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines What we offer
