You will apply your knowledge and experience to deliver detailed project cost estimates.
Your role is a mix of working on tenders and projects. You will conduct first principle estimates and formulate costs for our electrical projects including transmission and distribution lines, commercial and industrial work. You will also support two Senior Estimators on our 'tier 1' renewables projects such as solar farms, wind farms, and battery projects.
This is a 24-month fixed term position and will ideally be based at our Newstead office. However, we welcome applications from any major regional QLD centre.
With flexi-working in place, the bottom of the salary band from $171,495 for a 10 day fortnight + 14.75% superannuation.

About You: You will hold a degree qualification in Engineering, Business, or Management, or have an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Your technical electrical estimating is second to none. You have demonstrated knowledge of estimating techniques and practices and experience in design, construction, maintenance, and operation of complex electrical infrastructure.
Not only can you complete first principles estimates for tenders, you can also work on major electrical and renewables projects to produce cost and time estimates, and reporting for materials, labour, plant, and civil contracts.
Working with two Senior Estimators, you will help create, measure, and report on design performance, and conduct post-project cost analysis to support effective benchmarking and continuous improvement. You will provide estimation advice to Project Managers and other workgroups regarding all aspects of specialised estimation to identify delivery cost, duration, and change analysis.
When it comes to your soft skills, you have a high level of communication and strong interpersonal skills. You can develop and maintain strong working relationships and can successfully negotiate and influence decisions relating to costs.
