Duties: Installing and testing electrical systems, including lighting, communication systems, navigation equipment, and power distribution systems.Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues on board ships, such as faulty wiring or malfunctioning equipment.Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with safety regulations.Collaborating with engineers and other team members to design and implement new electrical systems or upgrades to existing systems.Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair work, as well as documenting any modifications made to electrical systems.Ensuring that all electrical work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.Training and supervising junior technicians or apprentices in electrical maintenance and repair practices.Responding to emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures, to quickly resolve electrical issues and minimize downtime.Keeping up-to-date with advances in marine electrical technology and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency in electrical systems.Required Skills: Have at least 2-3 years experience in a related roleExperience in marine industryHave excellent problem-solving abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
