Electrical Engineering Technician

Currently, due to the rapid growth of the company's business and in order to fill the recent staff shortage, the company is looking for Electrical Engineering Technicians with 3 years relevant industry experience to join the team. This position is responsible for electrical design for residential, commercial or industrial installations, electrical power and solar system generation and transmission, and instrumentation and control systems.Duties and responsibilities:Design, operation and performance of electrical generation and distribution networks, electrical machinery and components and electronic communications, instrumentation and control systems, equipment and componentsPrepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for electrical and electronic systems and equipmentDesign electrical and electronic circuits, components, systems and equipmentDeveloping apparatus and procedures to test electronic components, circuits and systemsSupervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipmentDevelop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipmentRequired qualification/skills:Completion of relevant electrician apprenticeship programCompletion of a Bachelor of Science or Diploma of Engineering preferredElectrician license required in state of practice3-5 years of electrical experienceAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneelComfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagramsWorking knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipmentDemonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical workAbility to calculate basic mathematical problemsWilling to work overtimeSalary range $70,000 - $ 75,000As an Electrical engineering technician, you will work with the highly-collaborative team to develop your skills and experience.
