Electrical Engineering TechnicianLocation: Katherine, NT 0850Tenure: Full-time PermanentComprehensive salary package: from $70,000 p.a Plus superannuationPosition Summary:On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer Technician who has strong communication and time management skills, is self-motivated, and must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.The position may also require skills in leading a small team or groups and the ability to train new members of the team. This is a full-time position which may involve weekend work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises.Required Skills and Experience:Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology, or similar.A minimum of two years of experience as an electrical technician in a related industry.Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.Tasks and duties include:This role will see you completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain and / or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practices, company standards, policies, and procedures.Other skills required:To adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures.Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction.Good communications skills essential.Demonstrated integrity and good presentation.A professional work attitude.The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Superior attendance.High focus & attention to detail.Benefits include (but not limited to):Retail discounts with national partners.Health insurance discounts on Bupa Health and Medibank Private.What next?
