Hanley Energy Pty Ltd Electrical Engineering Technician (Full Time) Hanley Energy Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $97,000 per annum . Duties/Responsibilities Include; • Conducting inspections of electrical equipment as well as setting up testing equipment and analysing the results. • Overseeing the condition of electrical equipment, making repairs or changes to parts and materials, and providing technical assistance. • Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations. • Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely handover to the customer. This involves coordinating testing and commissioning activities, providing advice on testing procedures and documentation. • Actively identify problems and shortcomings with existing systems, working towards effective resolutions and improvements. • Produce or assist in the production of all necessary test documentation to maintain comprehensive records of testing and commissioning activities. • Execute testing and commissioning activities in line with specified site requirements, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. • As part of the role, travel to customer sites is required to facilitate on-site activities, ensuring seamless integration of systems. • Offer technical support to the service team as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. • Uphold a customer-focused approach, exercising a consistent high level of professional judgment and maintaining positive relationships with customers. • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, repair, and servicing of Electrical Monitoring or Control systems. • Display excellent technical understanding of Energy monitoring systems and associated communications protocols. • Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under strict deadlines. • Possess knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, contributing to a holistic understanding of the systems being managed. • Showcase good problem-solving/troubleshooting skills to address issues promptly and efficiently. • As this role is customer-facing, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks • Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving organisation goals. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and collaboration. Skills/Qualifications Possess a diploma or higher with 2 years of work experience, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the field.
