As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineering Team Leader to join our Team in the Manufacturing plant in Benalla.
This role requires a technical background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects Drive the design and development of electrical systems and components, ensuring adherence to project satisfaction, budget, and timeline Conduct reviews, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure product quality and reliability Support the Tendering and PM teams and factory organizations with product expertise and in resolving quality issues Lead the technology strategy for Switchgear products Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas, learn from failures, and implement process enhancements Provide regular performance feedback and identify opportunities for skills development and training for the team members Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification Proven management experience in leading a team Experience in MV switchgear and transformers design and application Experience in MV distribution in Electrical Utilities would be an advantage Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the team to achieve excellence Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Experience with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for electrical systems Perks We encourage applications from interstate candidates as we provide relocation support Competitive salary Access to our Employee Share Plan Education Assistance Program Purchase Additional Annual Leave Program Career Growth Opportunities Inclusive Culture: We welcome people from all walks of life Salary Continuance Insurance Discounted Schneider Electric and Clipsal Products All applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for an interview.
