Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services across the Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP.
D4C is seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical to join their expanding team to deliver excellence in the Treatment program of works.
As a Project Engineer, you'll be delivering projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to: Supporting Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality, and regulatory standards.Setting daily, weekly, and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials, and resources.Monitoring and reviewing costs, invoices, and claims for allocated projects.Contributing to the constructability of a project with respect to design development.Undertaking tender evaluation and award of subcontract procurement packages.Monitoring the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material against drawings and specifications and arranging corrections or modifications where necessary as per Inspection and Test Plans.Analysing and using document and record management, progress, and project performance reporting compliance reporting.Demonstrating sound people management skills by managing work and performance of self-perform workforce and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.Liaising and coordinating with all external parties and relevant statutory authorities and managing their attendance on site as necessary.Contributing to and fostering a good safety, quality, environment, and community culture with a view to deliver differently.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management, or equivalent.Minimum 5-10 years' engineering experience.Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning, and legislative requirements.Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental management.Client relationship and stakeholder management experience.Highly competent with MS Office.Driver's licence.White card.This role is important to our future growth and impact.
