About the role We are currently seeking a motivated Electrical PTL to join our friendly and supportive Brisbane Electrical Team on a full-time basis.
You will be a part of our multi-disciplinary team working across various building projects with a strong focus on Data Centre and Health projects.
The successful candidate will be able to apply their technical skills and demonstrate commitment in a way which ensures projects are thoroughly designed, personally reviewed and delivered on time.
You will be expected to service projects including those of relatively large size, of high complexity and with multiple clients.
Candidates can choose to focus on either technical project delivery or business development, or even excel in both areas, based on their strengths and interests.
Stantec are involved in a vast variety of project types including data centres, health, defence, high-rise, industrial, education etc.
The successful candidate will be working in a strong team environment and will need to manage several projects at any one time.

Day to day tasks would involve: Responsible for planning and managing projects from initial master planning, concept and brief, through to installation and commissioning.Demonstrate technical knowledge, providing oversight and supervision to ensure successful project delivery.Provide electrical designs for a range of building projects, including reports, studies, design calculations, drawings and specifications.Support and offer guidance to Engineers and Graduates to enable them to perform successfully at all levels.Represent Stantec externally to Clients, playing a senior and active role in managing these relationships.Prepare presentations and present to external clients.Liaise with authorities and contractors.To be successful for this role you'll need: Hold a bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering (RPEQ).Have previous Queensland based experience working within a Consulting environment within the Building services industry.Be well-connected in Queensland and confident in business development.Ideally have some experience working on Data Centre projects, however not compulsory.Willingness to establish and maintain strong client relationships to formulate repeat opportunities.Have experience planning and managing successful projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Positive, can-do attitude, team player and strong work ethic.About Stantec The Stantec community unites approximately 31,000 employees working in over 450 locations across six continents.
