The Electrical Team is responsible for:Designing and maintaining various specialist subsystems and at a board level, ensuring the whole electronics design within each of our devices performs as intended.Elements of component selection, design, compliance testing, troubleshooting prototype issues and assisting with implementation in production as well as liaising with suppliers.Do something that moves you.Design and develop Electromechanical subsystems which include DC motor drives, Pressure and Flow sensing, Optical and Infrared Sensors, LCD screens, Wireless and Serial Communications, Battery Power management and Power Supplies.Design and develop embedded test software components to support Radiology Business product development while working with state-of-the-art Microprocessors and Microcontrollers in close collaboration with our software team.Support the manufacturing/service function by participating in Life Cycle Engineering efforts for products in market.Keep up to date with the latest electronics manufacturing and design technologies for both prototyping and production.Hands-on building prototypes, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components.Generation of design specifications, descriptions, Test reports, and manufacturing documentation.IEC60601, CE mark, EMC, Radio, and IATA standards testing.Does this sound like you?Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Experience in a highly regulated environment i.e. Medical Device, Automobiles, Aerospace, Defence, Gaming.At least 3 years' experience in electrical circuit design and PCBA layout in a regulated environment, hands-on experience in prototyping, soldering, testing troubleshooting electrical systems.Knowledge of Schematics and PCB layout in Altium or CAD.This role is based at our Rydalmere site in Sydney, and will require you to work onsite.Be You @ BayerWe are committed to creating a culture where people can be their best, in an environment that values inclusion, diversity and flexibility.
