The Opportunity Come and discover the opportunity to join our Coke and Iron - Berth and Commodities Handling(BACH) team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility as an Electrical Engineer. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers. The BACH team manages our Berth Remediation project, along with other major projects on material handling assets, ship unloaders, conveyors, stockpile yard improvements, as well as various other construction and remediation projects at Port Kembla. In this role, you will be part of a major projects team providing electrical engineering for a wide range of medium to large capital projects. You will also be a part of completing work packages and supporting the site construction works within a multidisciplinary engineering and construction team that deliver major projects across Coke and Iron. What Will You Do? Working with multi-disciplinary teams, you will provide technical expertise in areas such as design, power systems, drives, control systems, equipment selection and technology improvement identification. You will also: provide electrical engineering support for the day to day operations of the plant investigate and implement process improvement projects deliver continuous improvement outcomes to support the production and supply of our products More About You You will have experience in facilitating engineering design, tender, supply, construction and commissioning.
