Ensure technical quality and manage engineering documentation.
Execute strategies for sustainable and safe engineering solutions.
Manage performance data for continuous operational improvements.
Handle engineering solutions for change requests.
Lead contractors, vendors, and junior engineers.
Conduct risk assessments for testing and maintenance activities.
Support design, calculations, and drawing development.
Analyze incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Participate in safety and constructability reviews (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP).
Provide technical support and troubleshooting on-site.
Monitor unit performance to ensure standards are met.

This is a permanent onshore position based in Darwin, NT.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager - Asset Operations, the successful Electrical Engineer will play a key role in providing technical and advisory support to the Offshore Management Team regarding electrical systems and relevant regulatory requirements.
Essential skills and knowledge  li]:text-brunel-dark-grey [&_ul>li]:py-2 [&_p]:text-brunel-dark-grey [&_ul>li>ul>li]:pl-0 pl-4 jobrequirements"> Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) preferred but not essential.
Extensive experience in electrical engineering design and technical/operational support.
Experience with offshore/FPSO projects, including conceptual design, commissioning, and operational support.
In-depth knowledge of Australian and International standards and regulatory requirements.
Extensive experience in electrical systems, equipment selection, and installation for hazardous areas.
