About the role
Reporting to the Manager Asset Readiness, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise to the maintenance and operations functions on all fixed plant equipment across our Onslow Iron project. The role is initially based in our Osborne Park head office and then transitioning to FIFO from Perth, on a 8/6 Roster.
Providing advice, technical or functional information as required to support stakeholders in both planned and unplanned environments
Evaluate changes to electrical systems
Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, policies, procedures and standards
Lead and facilitate investigations for significant equipment events
Assess and optimise equipment inspections and maintenance strategies
What you'll bring to the team
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 4 years prior experience in a similar role within the resources industry
Minimum 8 years' experience with fixed plant mining/materials handling processes
Detailed knowledge of mining/port operating environments
The ability to work on a FIFO roster and perform additional hours on occasion to meet operational demands.
