About the role Reporting to the Manager Asset Readiness, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise to the maintenance and operations functions on all fixed plant equipment across our Onslow Iron project. The role is initially based in our Osborne Park head office and then transitioning to FIFO from Perth, on a 8/6 Roster.
Providing advice, technical or functional information as required to support stakeholders in both planned and unplanned environmentsEvaluate changes to electrical systemsEnsure compliance to regulatory requirements, policies, procedures and standardsLead and facilitate investigations for significant equipment eventsAssess and optimise equipment inspections and maintenance strategiesWhat you'll bring to the team Tertiary qualifications in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 4 years prior experience in a similar role within the resources industryMinimum 8 years' experience with fixed plant mining/materials handling processesDetailed knowledge of mining/port operating environmentsThe ability to work on a FIFO roster and perform additional hours on occasion to meet operational demands.Safety first attitudeTeam focused mindset with the ability to work autonomouslyExcellent problem-solving skillsAnd then there's the extra benefits We look after our people because they're the ones looking after our business.That means a range of additional benefits for choosing MinRes including:
