Electrical Engineer

Initial 6 months contract
Competitive pay between $75 to $100 per hour
The Company:Our client is an engineering company delivering electrical engineering consulting and auditing solutions; manufacturing, installations and maintenance of rotating equipment to Mining, Industrial & Utility segments throughout NSW.
The Role:As an electrical engineer you will report to the Engineering Manager and produce effective & compliant electrical engineering designs and oversee the procurement, production, testing, installation & commissioning of those designs while complying with Australian Standards. Manage multiple concurrent projects including liaising directly with Stakeholders, Clients, and Suppliers.
Essential Skills Required:Bachelor Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Electrical EngineeringHave at least 5 years' experience in electrical design (Switchboard or Motor Control Centre) design for Industry, Mining or UtilitiesExperienced in Project ManagementExperience with Low Voltage and Medium Voltage (up to 33kV), Load Flow Studies (e.g., E-Tap) and Critical Instrument Systems (including SIL)Experience with Programming PLC/HMI/SCADA - Allen-Bradley or Siemens S7 preferredHighly familiar with Electrical Standards - AS3000, AS3008, and AS61439Familiarity with AS4024 (desirable, but not critical)Auditing to Electrical StandardsFacilitating Design Risk AssessmentsExperience in document controlDriver's licensePlease submit your resume and cover letter in Microsoft WORD format only.
