If so, this is your opportunity to live, work and play a short drive from stunning coastlines, scenic trails and the food and wine heartland of the west.Located in the picturesque south-west and Peel regions of Western Australia, South32 Worsley Alumina is on a journey to become the world's leading Alumina producer where our 1500 workforce value the lifestyle that Worsley Alumina has to offer.Our integrated Bauxite Mine, Alumina Refinery and Port Operation is creating the essential products needed for a sustainable low carbon future.WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERS26 weeks full-paid, or 52 weeks half-paid parental leave for primary carers.Ability to purchase up to 4 weeks of additional annual leave.The opportunity to become a shareholder of South32 through our share plans.Options for additional superannuation contributions.ABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent position working a 9-day fortnight roster DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Worsley Alumina Blueprint by providing specialised electrical power and instrumentation engineering technical expertise to the Operation.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:Manage modifications and project tasks in accordance with relevant processes, standards, and performance targets for HSEC, quality and cost.Provide electrical and instrumentation engineering expertise and consultative support for the OperationEnsure compliance to relevant processes and standards, statutory legislation, Fatal Risk Controls, and Industry, Australian or Government Standards.Gas appliances and radiation devices compliance management and support to the operation on relative queries.ABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Prior experience in a similar role within Mining or Heavy IndustryAppreciation of functional safetyKnowledge and experience in management of gas appliances and radiation devices.
