As an experienced engineer, you will be required to work alongside fellow engineers aswell as the wider organisation, contributing to the product development and R&D activities associated with developing launch vehicles and/or satellites. You will work as part of a high performing team throughout the entire engineering lifecycle, from initial scoping to requirements definition, design, procurement, manufacture, testing, assembly and operations. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.Contributing as part of a team of Electrical Engineers to deliver Electrical products and servicesWhere applicable, conducting junior leadership responsibilities (where technical authority is not required)Leading small product teams on a quarterly basisParticipating in the development of Electrical engineering designs, processes and activitiesTo undertake accountability as a Responsible Engineer for Electrical units/subsystemsConducting technical assessments, including: concept studies, trade studies, analysis of COTS solutions and estimates for Research and DevelopmentAdhering to and participating in product development engineering processes including: requirements definition, preliminary / detailed design, review, procurement / manufacture, assembly, integration and verification / validationSupporting Electrical unit and integration testing and operations (may include travel to remote sites)Supporting investigations, troubleshooting, modifications and fixes / repairsSupporting execution of Research and Development activitiesSupporting Electrical engineering production activities associated with the Launch Vehicle and Satellite product linesCoordinating with the Mechanical, Propulsion and Manufacturing engineering departments as well as the Production organisationEngaging with external suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholdersEnsuring that engineering activities are conducted and documented in accordance with Gilmour Space policies, plans and proceduresOther duties as requested by ManagementMinimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering, or a relevant qualification2+ years of experience in professional Electrical design engineering settings (excluding internships)Proven ability to operate in dynamic, fast paced environmentsDemonstrated resilience in high stress situationsNV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Experience developing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition solutionsExperience with industrial safety critical/real time control applicationsStrong understanding of pressure, temperature and flow measurement instrumentationExperience developing and manufacturing harnessesExperience with mechanical design software (eg.
