Our Brisbane office is the hub for a team of professionals dedicated to creating a sustainable energy future.About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and commissioning of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing electrical engineering activities for utility-scale solar farms, BESS projects, and other electrical design work, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all electrical engineering aspects of solar farm, BESS projects, and electrical designs from concept design to commissioning.Develop, review, and optimize electrical engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project challenges.Monitor, evaluate, and report on project progress and performance.Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience: A minimum of 3 years in electrical engineering.Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in electrical design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP). Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Australian Standards, IEC, IEEE).
