Electrical Engineer (Control Systems) - Perth, WAAbout SynertecASX listed Synertec is a diversified Technology and Engineering Consultancy with over 28 years of expertise delivering end-to-end solutions for clients in high risk sectors such as Water, Rail, Nuclear, Energy, and other highly regulated industries.Our foundations are built on multi-disciplinary collaboration and support amongst our engineering teams and operational staff, as well as fostering growth and development for all our people.Since 2017, Synertec has broken new ground with our unique technology offering; Powerhouse, a 100% renewable clean energy microgrid, capable of supplying clients with on demand green power, without the need for fossil fuel backups.About the RoleReporting into the Team Manager and playing a critical role to our success, your responsibilities will include:Day-to-day technical delivery across multiple projects ranging from longer term greenfield projects to modernisation and/or refurbishment of Brownfield facilities.Hands on involvement with initial scoping & requirements gathering, review of engineering specifications, detailed design and programming through to testing and commissioning stages.Problem solving and troubleshooting across the entire life cycle of the project, ensuring a timely and structured approach used for issue resolution.Applying sound technical knowledge of control systems and technologies across a range of clients and industry portfolios.Working collaboratively within dynamic multi-disciplinary project teams, involvement in progress meetings and client interactions.Assisting in business development activities as required, involvement in proposal writing and tendor submissions with clients.Ongoing training and development including a mixture of practical & theoretical in-house and external training programs.About youAbove all, we would love like-minded and enthusiastic collaborators for whom whilst work is a job, it's also a path to growth and professional development!
For this role, we will be looking for:Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field, this can be Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other engineering backgrounds.You will have a hands on and collaborative nature, with proven experience in delivering automation projects in a timely manner.You will ideally have solid programing experience in various PLCs and SCADA technologies.
