Electrical Design Drafter

Job Reference 3837067 Industry Electrical Engineering Job Type Permanent / Full Time Salary $110000 Location Brisbane Our client is market leading manufacturer of LV Switchboards and Substations for the power utility industry nationally.
Due to continued growth and demand they need an experienced Electrical Designer or Drafter to assist in the design and drafting of switchboards, along with the mentorship and support of colleagues.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will develop detailed models and designs for both standard and highly customised LV switchboards which are manufactured in house.
Responsibilities: Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing purposes.
Design and draft SLD's, wiring diagrams, circuit breakers and LV components.
Liaise with production and manufacturing teams to ensure suitability for production.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with standards and client specifications.
Skills Required: Applications are welcomed from either experienced Electrical Drafters OR an electrical trades background with experience of building switchboards.
Experience in drafting with SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD 2D OR   experience in manufacture and assembly of LV switchboards.
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn, training and support will be provided.
