For over 140 years, they have been an innovative force in the timber and decorative solutions industries.The role:The roles are necessitated by strong business growth and team expansion to support the organisation. The Site Electrical Coordinator works under the direction of and reports to the Site Electrical Manager. The role is responsible for overseeing projects and PLC based work on the site in a timely and efficient manner. The Site Electrical Coordinator is required to participate in an on-call roster to troubleshoot issues to assist shift electricians with problems. The role is responsible for maximising uptime by completing preventative and predictive maintenance as directed in line with the schedule. The Site Electrical Coordinator coordinates and directs Shift Electricians during standard operating hours.Your responsibilities will include:In charge of 4x maintenance electricians & 4x apprentices (They rotate shifts, 12-hour days. It's a 24/7 operation)Complete, support and maintain preventive/predictive maintenance and plant reliability programs with relation to Mainpac and JIS A 5908 requirementsThe correct operation and maintenance of equipment and to optimise productivity.Maintain and update all electrical and control system documentationSupport the training & development of apprenticesOversee projects and PLC based work on the site in a timely and efficient manner.Monday-Friday but flexible with hoursThe skills and experience that the successful applicant will need to display include:Class "A" Victorian Electricians licence.Reasonable level of experience with PLC and Scada-based systems, preferably Siemens and Citect.Experience in electrical & control systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Ability to supervise.Current First Aid certificate.The ability to work independently and be a leader within the team.Ability to diagnose faults with efficiency.Salary Range: Attractive salary dependent on experience levelLocation: Benalla, VicPosition Type: Permanent Full-TimeDesirable:Knowledge of PLC programming, especially Siemens TIA Portal.Knowledge of SCADA programming especially CITECT.Knowledge of Safety of Machinery to AS4024.2019 is desirableThis role will be an ongoing full-time position that could lead to permanent placement for the right candidate.
