About the Client
Rio Tinto Operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700-kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.
About the Role
WorkPac is currently seeking an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer, where you'll lead projects valued up to $2 million from inception to completion, following financial processes for funding. Engage stakeholders throughout the process and enjoy a 6-month duration with a potential extension, based in Dampier on a 5:2:4:3 roster.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Delivering electrical and control systems projects up to roughly $2mil in value
Manage the project from options study to construction and operational readiness.
Following the RTIO Finance and Dampier Port Capital Process to obtain funding
Engage stakeholders and end users throughout the project.
Skills & Experience Required:
Demonstrate a strong safety culture.
High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communications skills and stakeholder engagement strategies
Electrical or Control Systems Projects, Engineering or Technician experience preferred
Strong preference to those familiar with RTIO Work Management Process and have a good understanding in the use of SAP
Australian C Class drivers ' licence
