The below job description will outline this position of: EC&I Engineer
Typically, this person will overseeing EC&I engineering activities for major projects across our Oil Fuel Depots (OFDs), ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and compliant execution of tasks in line with company standards and UK/European legislation.

Duties and responsibilities of the EC&I Engineer:
* Promote Process Safety: Champion process safety leadership as a core aspect of the companies culture.
* Compliance and Safety: Ensure all EC&I engineering activities within Capital Projects comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, with a focus on safety and safe systems of work.
* Technical Guidance: Act as the technical lead on EC&I matters for Capital and asset care projects, consulting with the EC&I Technical Authority as needed.
* Project Management: Plan and manage EC&I tasks within project timelines, adhering to company standards and UK/European legislation.
* Scope and Budget Development: Create detailed scopes of work, budgets, and forecasts.
* Collaboration: Work with the companies Asset Technical Team on standards and codes.
* Change Management: Apply the MOC process throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support Maintenance and Compliance: Assist in maintenance and compliance activities as required.
Qualifications and requirement for the EC&I Engineer:
* Education: Degree qualified, ideally chartered or working towards chartered engineer status.
* Clearance: You must be able
* Experience: Project management experience, preferably within a COMAH-regulated industry.
* Skills: Expertise in specifying process instruments, process control, and safety systems, with a proven ability to resolve issues across various time frames.
* Electrical Systems: Competent in designing and commissioning low voltage (LV) electrical systems in line with relevant standards and safe practices; high voltage (HV) system experience is advantageous.
* Travel: A full (preferably clean) driving license is essential as occasional travel is required.
