Tier 1 constructor 10 year full cycle program - Design, Construction, Maintenance Major Sydney Water infrastructure projects in the western suburbs Location - Sydney Western Suburbs The Opportunity We are seeking to engage an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our 10-strong commissioning team for a long term program of works across western Sydney Water infrastructure.
The West Region Delivery Team deliver water infrastructure projects on behalf of Sydney Water.
The projects are generally delivered in two stages.
In Pre-Operations, the West Region Delivery Team undertake site investigations, develop the design, develop the scope of work, develop plans and methodologies for project delivery, and develop a detailed estimate for the delivery of Stage Two.
Stage Two includes the completion of the design, construction, commissioning, and handover of assets to Sydney Water.
You'll be Responsible for; The Electrical Commissioning Engineer in this role will work closely with and provide assistance to Project Managers and be responsible for the planning, executing, and finalising of commissioning phases relating to asset completion and handover to Sydney Water.
This role applies to all projects to which the Engineer is assigned and includes support for other Commissioning Team members as required.
This delivery focused role is responsible for planning, executing, and finalising the commissioning phase of projects.

What you'll bring to the table; The ideal candidate will:
4 years + experience in a Commissioning and support role. NSW Electrical License Tertiary qualifications. Preferential exposure to engineering processes and procedures. Clean and/or Dirty Water Utilities experience essential, preferred experience in working with or around Sydney Water Assets. Meticulous approach to administrative tasks. Attention to detail, highly organised, efficient and able to multitask. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong focus on customer service.
