The opportunity
Cromarty Automation is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Technician to join our Devonport team.
Cromarty Automation technicians provide a wide range of services to our customers, including, but not limited to:
Electrical and Control System installation, maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting Communication Systems installation, testing and troubleshooting Installation and servicing of electrical equipment Hazardous area installation and maintenance Considered applicants will be highly motivated to deliver innovative electrical, instrumentation and technology solutions to meet a variety of customer needs.
Role Requirements
Hold a current Electrical Practitioners License – Electrician Instrumentation qualifications, or willingness to be trained to Cert III in Instrumentation and Control Sound knowledge of computer systems and common software Instrumentation maintenance and calibrations Hold a current Driver's License Demonstrate strong safety leadership by adhering to and promoting all Cromarty safety policies and procedures Be reliable, have good initiative, and quality focused Good time management, well organised, and the ability to meet deadlines Effective communication skills - written, spoken, listening and the ability to work effectively in a team Problem solving skills through sound fault finding and fault rectification processes Experience in the following will be highly regarded:
White Card, WAH, Confined Space High-Risk inc. EWP, LF are desirable Industrial/Manufacturing experience PLC, RTU & VFD maintenance and troubleshooting SCADA system knowledge/experience UPS systems maintenance and troubleshooting An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant according to experience.
