Department of Premier & Cabinet TAS – Burnie TASDo you enjoy meeting people and helping your community?We are seeking applications for a community-minded individual who thrives on helping others and supporting a range of different community groups, businesses, organisations, and individuals.The electorate officer role is based in the Burnie office of the Liberal Member, Roger Jaensch MP. The successful person will be a friendly, supportive, and highly-organised individual who will be the first point of contact for the Member's constituents in the electorate of Braddon, which covers the North-West and West Coast of Tasmania.Good communication and strong administration skills are key to this position, along with a willingness to support a Liberal member with stakeholder and community engagement at a local level and an interest in learning more about politics. Applicants should be able to work autonomously, have strong attention to detail, and be able to manage a wide variety of tasks including assisting with social media and marketing support.The position is full-time, and the salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
