Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout the Opportunity:John Paul College is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our Early Learning Centre (ELC). This role will primarily focus on the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs within the ELC, ensuring they align with best practices and individual developmental needs.
The ELC Early Childhood Teacher plays a pivotal role in the development and growth of young children, responsible for cultivating a supportive and enriching environment.
This role encompasses the planning, execution, and supervision of developmentally appropriate educational programs and activities that encompass physical, cognitive, social, and emotional dimensions.
In addition to this, the ELC Early Childhood Teacher takes on the role of mentorship, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and fostering professional growth amongst the centre's staff.
The role of the ELC Early Childhood Teacher at John Paul College encompasses access to continuous professional learning opportunities designed to support career progression, encourage personal growth, and enhance skills in curriculum development and educational program implementation.
As we operate a long day care centre, the successful candidate will be required to collaborate effectively within the established routines of the centre.
