The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean peace of mind for every Australian.
Salary: $116,118 - $127,090 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
Our participants, Our people, Our purpose The NDIA is now seeking an EL Assistant Director Technology Asset Management in the Agency ICT Services Branch. The Agency ICT Services Branch supports all ICT systems and infrastructure, excluding primary business applications like SAP CRM and Salesforce CRM. It designs, builds, and maintains ICT applications, infrastructure, and hardware for Agency staff and partners.
The branch also manages relationships with Services Australia and other external ICT providers, ensuring compliance with service levels, providing support, transitioning new services, and enhancing ICT services to meet business needs.
Where you can add value The EL1 Assistant Director of Technology Asset Management leads complex projects within the NDIA, resolving issues and managing risks. This role involves planning, resource and performance management, and providing high-level policy advice while maintaining stakeholder relationships and representing the NDIA in various forums.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Support development of the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and Asset Management Plans (AMP) through stakeholder consultation.Lead asset management governance and risk frameworks, prioritizing and mitigating asset performance and risks.Enhance agency asset management capabilities, ensuring compliance with policies and improving processes.Implement project management methodologies for Hardware and Software Asset Lifecycle Management.Supervise Technology Asset Management functions, including performance reviews and feedback.Monitor and report team performance against KPIs and Service Level Agreements.Experience in Project Supplier, Vendor Management, Procurement Management. Leading and managing a rolling PC Refresh / Replacement program for an organization with a focus on Hardware Asset Lifecycle Management.Managing a remote and dispersed team of staff along with leading a Level 2 / Desktop Support function.Understanding Strategic Asset Management Planning or has exposure to Asset Management Frameworks.Your NDIA Experience We work as one team.
