The Legal and Audit Division in the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) is seeking a Principal Legal Officer (EL2) to join the

Corporate Legal Branch

.

The Corporate Legal Branch is a specialist in-house legal practice that supports the department's objectives by advising on the management of legal risks. It comprises a number of teams that provide advice and services in commercial, property, employment, and other corporate law matters. You will be supported to further develop a highly sought-after and transferable skillset.

We are looking for candidates who have strong technical legal skills, can communicate clearly and persuasively, can manage competing priorities, enjoy working collaboratively, and have a positive attitude.

You will get exposure to a wide variety of interesting and complex legal matters and work closely with legal colleagues across the division in providing advice to the Department.
