The Role
As the Director Performance within the Portfolio Management Branch, you will be responsible for building a team of APS to support Portfolio outcomes including the implementation of tools, frameworks and templates for ICT project and program delivery.
This role is pivotal to the effective roll out of agile methodologies within the Group and for supporting communities of practice relating to ICT delivery. In the Portfolio Management Branch, you will have a unique opportunity to drive real change and be involved in a wide range of activities across the Group.

This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. About our Team
The Portfolio Management Branch is a newly established team within the Defence Digital Group and sits within the Group Operations Division. The Branch is responsible for prioritising resourcing within the Group, setting the tools, frameworks and templates for projects and programs and for providing performance oversight to the Portfolio of work.

Your role as the Director of Performance will see you lead a team of APS to implement a range of improvement initiatives across the ICT delivery framework including:
