This role involves coordinating technical teams, leveraging subject matter expertise (SME) for the development and implementation of undersea warfare systems through the capability lifecycle, ensuring that systems deliver on capability requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in undersea warfare systems, and strong leadership skills.We are seeking a candidate to help grow and nurture the technical expertise to deliver innovative capabilities. The position works in an integrated workforce to deliver SME to projects/products across the Branch. The specific competencies below are critical to success. In-depth understanding of acoustic sensors and their implementation within the Maritime Domain.Have relevant qualification or degree, e.g. a degree in audio-electronics, acoustics, or acoustics training with an associated technical/engineering qualification.Excellent stakeholder management to engage with other Cross Class enterprises enabling an understanding of acoustic sensor and signature requirements.Provide relevant examples of your experience in the development/implementation of acoustic capabilities, operations or capability development.It is essential that the candidate has demonstrated utmost integrity, professionalism, self-motivation, positive attitude towards challenges and perseverance in achieving outcomes.
