They are seeking an EL1 ESM Technical Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solutions.Richmond or Geelong location plus hybrid work-from-home18 month initial contract + 18 month extension, rates fully negotiableRole only open to Australian Citizens - Federal government clientThe role:As an EL1 ESM Technical Specialist, your duties will include:Develop and implement ESM solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices, including integrating various enterprise systems and toolsPerform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance, security, and accessibility for all usersProvide technical support and training to users, addressing any issues or concerns related to the ESM platform and facilitating user adoption through effective change management strategiesCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for ESM configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring data consistency and quality across multiple systemsWork with other IT teams to integrate the ESM platform with other enterprise systems and tools, ensuring scalability and adaptability as the organisation growsImplement robust security measures and ensure compliance with various regulations to protect sensitive dataIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance service delivery, continuously seeking ways to improve the system and streamline processesBalance the costs of implementing and maintaining the ESM platform with the efficiency gains to ensure value for the organizationSkills and experience:To succeed in this role you will need:Strong experience in ESM or IT service management rolesPrevious experience in a similar role within a large enterprise environmentProficiency in ESM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Jira Cloud, Cherwell, and other relevant productsStrong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentITIL Foundation or higher ITIL level qualifications (e.g., ITIL Managing Professional, ITIL Strategic Leader)Advanced certifications in ESM tools, such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, BMC Helix Administrator, or Jira AdministratorPlease note that our client is a federal government organisation and can only consider Australian Citizens for selection.Apply:Submit your resume, or for further information please contact ******
