The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Senior Technical Advisor, Strategy and Architecture EL1 role in the Strategy and Architecture Section of the Digital Branch.
As the Senior Technical Advisor you will assist in coordinating applications and infrastructure architecture activities internally and externally. You will lead and direct governing principles to guide decision making pertinent to applications and infrastructure architecture and alignment with the Enterprise Architecture.
You will also oversee auditing and compliance within the Enterprise Architecture policies, standards, and frameworks, and alignment with Library technology roadmaps. You will apply knowledge of software, operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows), infrastructure (including server, storage, network, DR, virtualised and cloud) and IT Security.
You will lead in evaluating technology, market trends and industry, and identify prospective impact on business. We are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader with a track record developing and delivering architecture and technology roadmaps that can play a key role in delivering the digital strategy of this world leading cultural institution.
To succeed in this role you will have:
