The Administrative Appeals Tribunal is looking for aSenior Applications Developer to join oursupportive, friendly, and collaborative Enterprise TechnologyGroup team. 
This role can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart,Melbourne, or Sydney.
The position is initially non ongoing for a period of up to 18months with opportunities for ongoing.
Remuneration: The salary range for theposition is EL1: $113,357 - $133,423 p.a., plus a generous employercontribution of 15.4% superannuation applies.
About the opportunity: As the Senior Applications Developer you will provide ongoingsupport and development for business-critical systems in thecontext of the AAT's multi-year program to replace its CaseManagement Systems (CMS). The role will support the achievement ofthe goals and outcomes of ETG's program of work, deliveringdefinitive benefits realisation from development activities.
The Enterprise Technology Groups (ETG) Senior ApplicationsDeveloper provides development and technical expertise to ensurethe successful delivery of the AAT's ICT strategy andstrategic goals of current systems.
The role provides quality hands on development support whilstdelivering authoritative advice and guidance to development andoperations teams. The role will deliver well-reasoned, structured,and definitive insights into modern ICT development practices,enabling establishment of a high performing internal developmentcapability, by supporting, training, mentoring, defining andimplementing industry standard aligned best practices. TheAAT has selected a Microsoft D365, Power Platform, Dataverse andAzure Services stack as the core of its new CMS Platformcapabilities.
About you: To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated capability to take technical responsibilityacross all stages and iterations of software development. Experience in adapting and developing new organisationalcapabilities. Experience driving adoption of, and adherence to, policies,standards, guidelines, and methods for system design. Experience in the selection and development of softwaredesign methods, tools and techniques and evaluating softwaredesigns (to ensure adherence to standards, functionality,quality, security and systems management requirements). Demonstrated knowledge and experience in specifying anddesigning large or complex software applications, componentsand modules. A strong ability and willingness to adapt to change. A track record of delivering against set timeframes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Vocational certification in modern developmentcertifications (Microsoft, Azure, AWS, etc) and moderntechnology approaches are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will ideally have a degree or post graduatedegree in information, technology, management and/or relateddisciplines.
Mandatory: Hold or be able to attain Baseline Security Clearance orhigher. Desirable: Degree or post graduate degree in information, technology,management and/or related disciplines Vocational certification in modern developmentcertifications (Microsoft, Azure, AWS, etc) and moderntechnology approaches including Agile, Scrum, SAFe, TOGAF,COBIT. Position Eligibility Requirements: The AAT requires Australian Citizenship as a condition ofengagement.
All employees are required to undertake an Australian FederalPolice Check and health assessment.
