As an EL1 in Strategy and Plans Branch, you will be given the unique opportunity to work within a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability.
Your responsibilities will require you to apply your analytical skills and experience across a diverse range of activities which will include program risk management in support of the acquisition and sustainment of Defence capability.
This position will be subject to an additional 10% Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This will be in addition to your agreed substantive salary on commencement. Please refer to the Defence Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020 for more information on BDCPs.
BDCPs apply, subject to the following:
Meeting eligibility criteria and maintaining effective performance. BDCPs are subject to regular reviews and may be ceased or varied at any time in accordance with Defence Policy.BDCPs may cease should you change positions that no longer attract a BDCP.Should the BDCP be ceased you will be advised and your salary will revert to your substantive salary. The Program Management Office – Strategy is an integral part of Strategy and Plans Branch, which is part of the new Guided Weapons Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Capability Development Division. Our Branch comprises various disciplines (including strategy, policy, international engagement, finance, analytics, engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are located in Canberra and our focus is to provide oversight of the acquisition and sustainment of guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
