The successful candidate will work closely with the Armoured Vehicle (AV) team, business areas and technical experts to successfully deliver a range of service improvements and capabilities for CAVs.
DFAT operates and manages a fleet of over 100 CAVs constructed by a variety of armourers in over 20 locations internationally. The CAVs are distributed throughout various locations around the world. The CAV fleet is managed by a team located in the DFAT Canberra office.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to project teams, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of activities.Develop and maintain a service-oriented culture that provides high quality, reliable and timely support to the CAV Team.Design and produce infographics to support project presentations, reports, and marketing materials.Assist in the development and execution of communication plans, create content for various channels, and ensure clear and effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders.Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and systems.Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and project plans, supporting the successful implementation of project initiatives.Assist in the development and implementation of frameworks, policies, guidelines and other resources that deliver business outcomes.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.Essential Criteria Vehicle fleet management experience is essential.Proven experience in project management, or a similar role is beneficial.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or project management software.This incumbent is required to hold a current Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance, prior to commencement.A long-term temp/labour-hire position is available within a large federal government department to work on a large international project.
