$79 – $88 Per Hour + 11.5% Super. S26 Transfer.

THE ROLE  Our client has a need for skilled Project Managers with a background in project/construction management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project delivery and a thorough understanding of security measures in building projects.
Scope of Task: The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in administering contracts, ensuring building regulation compliance, negotiating fees with specialist contractors, and managing allocated budgets. The role requires effective project management both locally and remotely to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery while maintaining the integrity of the design and ensuring full compliance with security regulations.
Role: Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the project team.Ensure required deliverables are produced to the highest quality standard.Manage approved time (schedule) and cost (budget) consistent with project objectives.Integrate project management stakeholders throughout the five phases of the project.Liaise with project customers, stakeholders, and governance bodies, such as a Program Management Office, to deliver the project successfully.The project manager will be expected to be on-site as required. Contract Duration: July 2024 – July 2025 (with 12-month extension)
Security Clearance: Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) required.
Travel: Domestic and overseas travel will be required to sites as per project schedule. 
Duties: Liaise with the project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.Manage project scope, risks and stakeholder expectations to ensure integration of project activities.Mange the design and documentation through the 5 project phases – Initiation/Design and Document/Delivery/HOTO/DLPManage project variations and changes and maintain the change control process.Coordinate and prepare regular progress reports and communication with key stakeholders.Establish project administration systems, document control and record management processes.Prepare, manage, review and update project documentation including risk and communications plans in conjunction with project team members.Manage project costs through cost estimating, budgeting, monitoring and contingency management.Ensure appropriate quality standards and quality assurance requirements are met.Liaise with suppliers, consultants and contractors as required.Ensure the project schedule is maintained and regularly report progress.Manage the risk management process, including the development of contingency plans, reviewing residual risks and escalating risks that cannot be managed at the project level.Monitor overall progress, use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary.Coordinate handover and completion activities and documents.Identify and document lessons learned during the project.Ensure the project meets its legislative obligations, eg: Workplace Health and Safety Act, Disability Discrimination Act.Skills and Experience: Ability to liaise with key stakeholders and develop project briefs to deliver security upgrade projects; Good understanding and experience in delivering construction and physical security Infrastructure projects.Manage the procurement of consultants and contractors to deliver security projects;Design reviewed against the project brief;Review design documentation for consistency, usability and implementation of security components;Identify issues prior to commencing components of the build and re-prioritise if required;Undertake site visits where required;Develop statement of work for external contractors;Draft contract Work Orders; andDemonstrated ability to understand and monitor associated budgets.WHY CS EXECUTIVE GROUP?
