THE CLIENT Our client is serving as the national sole producer of circulating coins for Australia, having a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1965. THE ROLE We are looking for2, EL1 level, Project Managers to join our client's Project Management Teamwithin their Operations Branch. The team will also include an EL1 level Procurement Expert. TheProject Management team is to review existing projects, which are at varying project stages, to re-scope and develop steps required for project completion.Depending on the project, the Project Management team will either oversee its completion or transfer it to the agency's internal staff. Responsibilities will include: Review existing project documentation, scope and develop new project plans & timelines Stakeholder management to ensure alignment with goals, expectations and addressing concerns as they arise Identify potential risk and develop strategies to mitigate them Monitoring of budget, QA and progress Capturing relevant data, documentation and reporting The contract,initially set until June 2025, is subject to evaluation for anadditional extension of up to 12 months. S26 Transfer is available. The team will work on a full-time basis as per the requirements of the Commonwealth Government Entity and is based in Deakin, Canberra. SELECTION CRITERIA This role will suit candidates who are adaptable, agile and ensure compliance with legislative and agency administrative and reporting obligations.
