A Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-complexity projects and deliver actionable outcomes that drive key initiatives, policies, and priorities.About The RoleAs the EL1 Project Manager, you will:Project Planning and Management: Develop, manage, and implement project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with the Agency's project management framework.Governance and Stakeholder Reporting: Contribute to project design, governance, and reporting, including preparing business cases, executive briefs, and status updates.Performance Monitoring and Quality Assurance: Analyse project performance, manage risks and issues, and coordinate quality management to ensure deliverables meet client needs.Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and oversee procurement and contract activities to stay within budget and timelines.Research and Evaluation: Conduct research, review, and evaluate projects, ensuring operational or technical integration and continuous improvement.Essential CriteriaTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need:Australian CitizenshipAbility to understand complex issues and interpret data to assist in determining root-cause issues.Deep understanding of Project Management and ability to use differing project tools.Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflicting or challenging situations.Expert knowledge of Jira and Confluence.Desirable CriteriaDetailed understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM platforms.Detailed knowledge of NDIA operating systems, practice and processes.Why join this Federal Government Agency?This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic projects that deliver meaningful, participant-focused outcomes, making a genuine difference in the lives of Australians.
