This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong leadership and program management skills, ready to drive initiatives that support the safety, quality, and availability of medicines in Australia.
As a Program Manager, you will provide essential support for advisory committees, managing the Medicines Repurposing Program, and contributing to impactful decision-making processes in prescription medicine regulation. This is a unique opportunity to support programs that directly impact public health, ensuring medicines in Australia meet high standards of safety and effectiveness.
Your Key Responsibilities: Lead and Innovate: Take ownership of the MRP, overseeing its development, continuous improvement, and successful outcomes.Manage Projects: Develop and manage program plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring progress aligns with goals and proactively addressing any challenges.Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including collaborations with reimbursement divisions and advisory committees.Communicate and Report: Prepare policy briefs, communications, and status reports for senior executives, clearly communicating complex information to inform critical decisions.Team Leadership: Mentor and inspire the team, fostering collaboration, supporting skill development, and promoting a positive, inclusive environment.Ideal Candidate: Strong Leadership: Ability to operate independently, make sound decisions, and support team goals within a regulatory framework.Exceptional Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing projects from start to finish, with strong organisational and time management skills.Communication Expertise: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to varied audiences.Adaptable and Resilient: Capable of prioritising tasks in a dynamic environment, balancing competing priorities with professionalism.Previous experience in regulatory affairs or health technology assessment will be highly valued.Why This Role?
