EL1 Program Manager About the role We are seeking a skilled program/project professional to join our Commonwealth Government client as an EL1 Program Manager.The successful candidate will join a taskforce supporting a major government initiative in the energy space.
An initial 3-month labour hire contract is on offer (proposed start date of 6 January 2025), with the possibility of extension.
This role is based in Canberra, ACT with flexible working arrangements considered.
Please note: only Australian citizens with the ability to obtain/maintain a Baseline security clearance can be considered for this role.
Duties: Assist with the delivery of program/projects within set timeframes, including managing delivery capacity to program requirements, prioritisation of projects, reporting, procurement and contract management activities.
Draft, review, monitor and update program and project documents including program plans, budgets, risk registers, tools, templates and other key documents.
Manage process to collate quality reports and communications.
Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, collaboration, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and strengthen governance practices across all entities.
Requisite skills/experience: Demonstrated experience in program/project management, procurement and contract management.
Demonstrated experience drafting program/project documentation, including plans, budgets, risk registers, tools and templates.
Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, and issues management.
