The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Product Owner, Trove Roadmap EL1 role in the Trove Data and Platforms section of the Collaboration Branch.
The Product Owner will work on a number of transformative projects as part of the Trove Application Roadmap, a 4-year plan for replacing, consolidating and decommissioning aged software applications.
This role will undertake the Product Owner function in an agile environment. You'll gather and take expertise from stakeholders across the business area to a cross-branch scrum team, assisting in the creation and prioritisation of business requirements alongside the Business Analyst and Subject Matter Experts. You'll work with the Project Manager to control scope and ensure minimum viable products are delivered. You'll work with other members of the Trove Data and Platforms section to bring subject matter expertise into the requirements and oversee User Acceptance Testing. You'll also work closely with the Trove Partnerships and Trove Community Services sections to coordinate product launches - ensuring development and release provide maximum positive benefit to the communities using the services.
We are looking for people who have experience working in cross-functional teams as an agile Product Owner.
To succeed in this role you will need to understand the role of a Product Owner in agile development, have proven ability to provide strategic advice in development of applications, and be able to work with Business Analysts and the scrum team to develop requirements and deliver a minimum viable product.
Experience in the Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums (GLAM) sector is desirable but not mandatory for the right candidate with good experience as a Product Owner.

Governance of the Library is the responsibility of the Library Council.
