EL1 Procurement Officer – Must have Commonwealth procurement experience Full-time hours and competitive hourly rate.  Values aligned culture! Experience with Commonwealth Procurement essential 1 and One Consulting is on the lookout for an experienced Procurement Officer to support procurement activities across various government projects. This crucial role offers the chance to engage with a central government agency, aiding in the coordination and management of procurement processes for smaller government entities. Core Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate procurement processes for government projects in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Review and assess existing project documentation to develop comprehensive procurement plans. Ensure all administrative and reporting requirements for individual projects are met. Collaborate with various teams to restart or initiate stalled or new projects, ensuring momentum and compliance. Provide guidance and support to staff, transferring project responsibilities appropriately. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to varying project activity levels. Maintain strict adherence to security and confidentiality standards as required by government policies. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Commonwealth procurement activities. Familiarity with Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Required security clearance of at least Baseline level. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet all administrative and reporting requirements. Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with various teams and provide strategic guidance. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and security as per governmental policies. Ability to work up to 40 hours per week for a term of 12 months with potential extension. Experience in project management within a government setting. Ideal Candidate Profile Possesses extensive experience in managing procurement activities within the Commonwealth sector. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Holds a Baseline security clearance, with additional police checks as required. Exhibits strong project management skills, capable of leading multiple projects across various phases. Shows proficiency in strategic planning and can effectively restart and manage stalled or new government projects. Has a proven track record of working collaboratively within teams and with other government agencies. Capable of handling complex administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
