The Opportunity
On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an experienced PowerBI Developer to join the Service Reliability team based in Geelong. This is a 12 month assignment.
As the Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for developing advanced dashboardsto support corporate reporting and data sharing across the organisation, playing a critical rolein providing actionableinsights and enhancingoperational effectiveness.
Duties will include; Design and develop PowerBi dashboards and reports that accurately represent complex data sets and meet business needsCollaborate with various teams to understand their data visualisation requirements and translate these into effective PowerBi solutions.Ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of PowerBI dashboards, including optimising data models for efficiency.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PowerBI developments and integrate new features and capabilities to continually enhance dashboard functionalities.Provide training and support to staff in using PowerBi dashboards, ensuring widespread adoptionExtract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI. To be considered you will demonstrate; Proven experience in PowerBI development, with a strong portfolio of successfully deployed dashboards and reports.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and transform it into impactful visual representations.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with various stakeholders and understand their data reporting needs.Demonstrated knowledge of Data Integration.Demonstrated knowledge of Power BI Service Administration and Data Governance.Minimum of 2 years' experience in data-specific roles or similar stream.Relevant tertiary or industry recognised qualification.Desirable skills include; Experience in working in the SAS VA EnvironmentExperience working in the SPLUNK EnvironmentCoding Languages: Python, SQL, SAS SQL, SPLTo Apply
