Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for delivering high-quality management reporting?
This Federal Government department is looking for a dynamic Assistant Director of Management Reporting to guide critical financial processes, improve reporting, and deliver strategic insights that will shape key decisions. As the Assistant Director, you will lead the management reporting function, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting that supports the Executive Board's decision-making and provides strategic advice to senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and deliver high-quality end-of-month financial reports for the Executive Board to support decision-making.
Work closely with finance business partners to provide meaningful analysis and insights on divisional financial results at the whole-of-department level.
Review and improve current end-of-month reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide strategic financial advice to the CFO, divisions, and the Executive Board on key financial and business issues.
Play a key role in the roll-out of a new financial management information system, with a focus on improving management reporting.
Contribute to the mid-year and annual internal budget setting processes.
Prepare a range of written materials including reports, ministerial briefs, and department submissions.
Lead, manage, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of clear communication, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
