El1 Management Accountant - Finance Business Partner

The OrganisationBespoke, centrally located Federal Government Department with a range of revenue streams.The RoleYou will be working as part of a management accounting team which strives to achieve strong partnerships with the Department's business lines. At the EL1 level you are a direct conduit between the CFO unit and line areas. Your role is to drive cohesion and support the line areas with all aspects of finance.This IncludesManagement of divisions' budgets and forecastsProvide financial reporting, variance analysis and face-to-face meetings with divisional clientsManage and perform end of monthly financial tasks (e.g. journals, accruals.)Financial support project managers with the delivery of their projectsThis will be offered as a contract initially for 18 months with the potential that this role will become permanent in the future.Your Skills And ExperienceYou have worked in a management accounting role at the EL1 level previously. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to develop business relationships.You must be an Australian Citizen with a baseline clearance to be considered for this role.
