The roleInfrastructure EngineerYou will work ensuring efficient and effective operation and administration of approved database management. Perform daily monitoring, platform health checks, and incident resolution.About youWe are looking for someone with strong people & technology leadership skills and a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience operating and enhancing Network Services. You have a proven track record in the implementation and operation of:Developing and maintaining standards, procedures, and programmes to ensure the integrity, security, and backup of approved ASIC databases.Monitoring the performance of the databases and taking appropriate action to optimise both database and application availability and response times.Assisting in installing, configuring, and testing infrastructure modifications.Development and management of system recovery plans and execution of disaster recovery exercises for server, storage, and backup platforms.Conforming to ITIL processes such as incident and change management.5+ years of experience in infrastructure solutions deployments including:WindowsActive DirectoryVMwareStorageServer HardwareBackup technologies is required.Experience managing with MS SQL Server and Always On failover clusters is required. Knowledge and experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure are desirable.
