The ICT Service Delivery function delivers ICT procurement, contract management, Software Asset Management, and vendor relationship management services. The team delivers critical support services to ensure the Division is effectively managing the procurement of ICT goods and services, monitoring contract renewals in collaboration with contract managers, and monitoring vendor performance under relevant ICT sourcing contracts.
The ICT Sourcing Senior Specialist role works in partnership with the agency Procurement team to deliver ICT procurements from the transactional to strategic level. This role leads a small team and provides specialist advice to support Senior ICT Engineers in managing their ICT contracts by tracking renewals, licence consumption, facilitating new procurements and contracts in conjunction with the agency's procurement team.
Key Responsibilities:Acting as a central escalation point for the administration of simple and complex ICT contracts or procurements.Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate and manage successful services and contract management.Providing specialist assistance to key contract variation activities and managing Official Orders/Variations for the Intelligence and Information Systems Division (IIS).Ensuring all procurement activities and advice adhere to relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards.Identifying risks associated with procurement activities and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.Providing budgetary support, including preparing and tracking financial year budgets for the CIO Branch and Intelligence and Information Systems Division.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills, and attributes:Developing positive relationships that enhance the CIO Branch, IIS Division, and ACIC's reputation.Managing a team effectively, including mentoring and driving a culture of achievement and success.
