EL1 ICT Master Scheduler
$650 - $750 / Daily rate ex superDeakin, ACT12-month contract (1 x 12 month extension)About the client
One of our largest clients is now seeking an EL1 ICT Master Scheduler to join there fast-growing team of talented individuals offering an attractive pay in Deakin.

About the role
The ICT Master Scheduler will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and optimizing the scheduling processes to ensure efficient and effective project execution. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of project management principles.

Duties Develop and maintain comprehensive project and program schedules, incorporating input from various stakeholders, project managers, and team leads.Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope, objectives, and dependencies to create realistic and achievable schedules.Utilize industry-standard scheduling tools and software to build and update project and program timelines.Monitor and allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project performance.Work closely with project managers and branch managers to identify resource constraints and recommend solutions.Conduct resource planning and analysis to optimize team efficiency.Identify and analyse critical paths within project schedules, highlighting potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.Regularly review and update schedules to reflect changes in project scope, timelines, and resource availability.Facilitate regular communication among project teams to ensure awareness of schedule updates, changes, and potential impacts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various project schedules and ensure alignment with overall organizational goals.Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and risks, and propose solutions to mitigate these issues.Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to assess the impact of changes on project timelines and overall delivery.Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years' experience creating schedules, managing resource constraints in a large enterprise (preferably ICT).Strong understanding of resource scheduling, and project management with the ability to create pragmatic schedules highlight issues for resolution such as resource constraints and dependencies on different skillsets.Proven ability to workcollaborativelywith diverse stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.Understanding of portfolio and project management tools such as MS project, Clarizen and Jira.Desirable Criteria Relevant industry scheduling related qualifications.Demonstrated experience in conducting master scheduling for digital transformation projects, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.Application Requirements Applicants must hold Australian citizenship.National Criminal History Records Check and completion of the Agency's screening checks.Applications close 13/05/24If you feel you are a suitable candidate submit your application by hitting 'Apply for this job'.
